The internet is a broad network that connects computers all over the world. The internet makes it easy for people to share information and communicate with others around the world.  Anyone that is able to connect to internet connection can communicate through internet. Though the internet is ever changing, but the two official inventors of the internet are Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf. The internet was invented initially for the military and then it expanded for easier communication between scientists. The internet emerged in the United States in the 1970s but didn't become visible to the public until the 1990s. The internet was originally used as a government weapon in the Cold War, today it is used for almost everything and people use it everyday to communicate with others.

The World Wide Web is an interconnected system of public webpages that can be accessed through the internet. Tim Berners-Lee created the world wide web on his computer in a research lab in the 1990s. The World wide web was invented to link and connect resources through hyperlinks. The web was originally created to support the demand for automated information sharing between scientists as universities around the world. Today it allows the sharing of information to be easier and allows people to share their thoughts and feelings on blogs and other social networking sites.

The internet and the web are different, however they do work together. The web is the pages you see when you're on a device and online whereas the internet is the network of connected computers that the web works on. The two work together, for example when you send an email and what your files travel across.

The first website was released on August 6 in 1991 by Tim Berners-Lee.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and Lamarr

what is the connection of Hedy Lamarr to WiFi and Bluetooth

Jaap Haartsen laid the foundation for bluetooth in 1994. Haartsen then played an active role in the creation of the Bluetooth Special Interest group which was founded in 1998. He was chairman for the SIG air protocol specifications group from 1998 till 2000, and ultimately invented the Bluetooth radio interface. Bluetooth was named after King Harald the king of Denmark and Norway because he had a dead tooth that turned grayish blue. The bluetooth symbol represents the runes in the Roman alphabet.

Vic Hayes invented wifi in 1997. WiFi was originally called 'IEEE 802.11' which didn't have much of a ring to it so they switched it to WiFi. It was re named in 1999 because again they wanted a named that was a little more catchy than IEEE 802.11'.
